"From DerMarkentag to Brandneu"
There is a branding conference called “DerMarkentag” in Mainz, Germany. We had the job to create a corporate identity for this already existing event. It is an event for business, marketing and design professionals and students, so it has a wide target group range. The core of this event is “interconnectivity”. We created a pattern of 4x5 square. Each square was designed to have a different form and color combination. Each square of the design is connected to a value of the core. We renamed the event to “Brandneu” so it is easier for internationals to understand the meaning behind this event. Additionally it is translated in german to "latest", something very new, that not many people have already seen. The colors where chosen by the reason of being different to all the already existing events that are taking place in Germany.
